The creation of a tailored warm-up against Stage Fright.
The stage fright has been defined as the experience of persisting, distressful apprehension about and/or actual impairment of, performance skills in a public context, to a degree unwarranted given the individual’s musical aptitude, training, and level of preparation (P. Salmon, 1990).
According to a study by researchers from University of Zaragoza (Spain) Francisco Javier Zarza Alzugaray, Óscar Casanova López and Santos Orejudo Hernández (using a sample of 479 tertiary students of High Degree in music), Music Performance Anxiety (MPA) in musicians who are undergoing training is one of the most relevant aspects in the daily music practice and performance process.
