Commissioned by the International Trombone Festival 2015, in the concert called “Españoles por el mundo” (Spanish around the world) by David Rejano, Jaume Gavilán, Ricardo Mollá and José Angel Isla, fueron los encargados de su primera interpretación.
The trio version was dedicated to Triskel Brass, formed by Vicente Vallet (trumpet), Javier Molina (horn), and Christian Brandhofer (trombone) on the occasion of the chamber music series of the Symphony Orchestra of the Principality of Asturias (OSPA).
